School Council - At Barlby Primary School, the School Council throughout each half-term. At the onset of the academic year, they sought the input of their peers through voting to determine the focus of their efforts. Overwhelmingly, the school community chose extra playground equipment and a quiet area as a priority this academic year. In response, the School Council initiated discussions to pinpoint specific areas within the playground that required enhancement. After deliberation, the following action points were identified and earmarked as the focal areas for the academic year 2024-2025:

• Provision of additional equipment and increased opportunities for competitive sports at break time and lunch within the school.

• Creating a quiet space for a ‘reading for pleasure’
