SEND at Barlby

Barlby Primary School is a highly inclusive school.

We teach many children with varied special educational needs and disabilities. We support parents and their children to access high quality provision in a mainstream school.

We have specialist staff and wider professionals in house to support varied needs through individualised provision. Our children learn together in collaboration with their peers. We endeavour to support our parents with expertise, guidance and advice to support their child’s development. We enable all children to regulate their emotions and behaviour to conduct themselves safely in school.

We are proud to promote our inclusive ethos and welcome parents to come and visit our school.

Please contact Paul Enright, our SENCo, for more information.

The Orchard

The Orchard is an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) for pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism, who benefit from small class sizes in a bespoke learning environment. Admissions are organised by caseworkers from our Local Authority (LA), who aim to prioritise residents of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). The Orchard is named on pupils’ Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in Section I, as well as in the provision for Section F.

The Orchard is commissioned for 18 places from Reception to Year 6.
